Hannah Stickney grew up in beautiful Bude, in Cornwall. Taking inspiration from the landscape and nature that surrounds her, she produces interesting, intricate pen and ink drawings and paintings. To capture her subject, she exploits the different properties of the medium by combining free and fluid base layers with intricate, precise detail and line.
Education
After completing her Art foundation at Falmouth College of Art, she moved to Bath where she achieved a BA (hons) in Art and Education at Bath Spa University. She returned to Bath and undertook a PGCE, qualifying as a primary teacher in 2008. Since 2015, she has been a practising artist, teaching part-time and enjoying being a mum.
